Supervisor Course
Planning to supplement your driving lessons with private practice? It is important to be aware of the regulations that apply. Since 2006, it has been a legal requirement for both supervisors and learners to complete a supervisor training course, also known as an introductory course, before you and your supervisor can practise driving together.

Risk 1
Risk Training Part 1 is a theoretical, instructor-led course covering topics such as alcohol, drugs, fatigue, and risk behaviour in traffic. The aim is to provide you with knowledge of how these factors affect your driving, to raise awareness of risks and consequences, and to learn how to avoid them. This theory lesson is a mandatory part of the driving licence training and lasts for three hours. Risk Training Part 1 must be completed and approved before you can take the theory test and practical driving test.
