How an intensive course works at Björkstadens Trafikskola in Umeå
1. Choose an intensive package
Start by choosing which of our intensive packages suits you best. If you are unsure, you can contact us before booking and we will help you discuss the setup.
We agree on the course start date
You are not restricted to a single fixed start date. The start date is arranged by mutual agreement, which makes it possible to find a schedule that suits your availability and circumstances. The Raketen is also explicitly listed in the online shop as having a start date to be agreed.
3. Drive intensively during the training period
The driving lessons are scheduled more frequently than with traditional driver training. You get continuity in your driving and the opportunity to develop your skills between lessons.
4. We will help you all the way towards the tests
Björkstadens helps students book knowledge tests and driving tests with the Swedish Transport Agency. The Driving Licence package also includes the use of the driving school's car for the driving test.
Can I take an intensive course if I have never driven before?
Yes. You don't already need to be an experienced driver to choose an intensive course.
An intensive course can also be a good way for you who are a complete beginner to get started, as you get the opportunity to work with your driving continuously over a concentrated period.
However, how quickly you develop is individual. Some students have a lot of prior driving experience while others start from scratch. Therefore, the driving training is adapted to your circumstances.
The most important thing is not to complete a certain number of lessons as quickly as possible, but that you reach the level required to become a confident, safe and independent driver.
What happens if I need more driving lessons?
The number of driving lessons needed to get ready for the driving test is individual.
To driving lessons included in your intensive package is not enough, you can buy extra driving lessons and continue your training with us.

You don't need to live in central Umeå to take an intensive course with Björkstadens Traffic school.
We also welcome pupils from Vännäs, Robertsfors, Holmsund, Hörnefors and other towns around Umeå who want to concentrate their driving licence training into a more intensive period.
The driving school is located at Axtorpsvägen 5A in Umeå, near the university campus.
