How our driving lessons work
When you book a driving lesson with Björkstaden Driving School you will receive personalised and tailored training - whether you are brand new behind the wheel or have practised driving before. Each driving lesson is 55 minutes long and is led by one of our experienced driving instructors, who will adapt the programme to your previous knowledge, your pace and your goals.
We often start with the basics of starting, stopping and changing gear (for manual), and then move on to city, road, motorway and parking. You'll also learn risk assessment, mirror routines and road safety in depth - always with a focus on becoming a safe and aware driver.

We are located at Berghem in Umeå - a perfect location for those who live in the centre or study at Umeå University. At the same time, we have students commuting in from all over Västerbotten, including Holmsund, Obbola, Sävar, Teg, Röbäck and Vännäs.

Vårt mål är att du ska klara kraven för att få ett godkänt kunskapsprov och ett godkänt körprov hos trafikverket. Vårt mål är att du ska bli en bättre, tryggare och säkrare bilförare och komma från oss med ett körkort i handen. Björkstadens Trafikskola är den perfekta körskolan för dig som vill ha ett personligt bemötande och en trevlig körkortsupplevelse. Vi finns lokaliserade på Axtorpsvägen 5A, och är den närmaste körskolan för dig som dagligen befinner dig på universitetsområdet i Umeå. Trafikskolan har funnits i 50 år. Från början hette den Sven och Tages, men sedan 1990-talet heter den Björkstaden Driving School. The traffic school is currently run by Kenneth Möller, who has worked as a traffic teacher at the school since 2016, and he is assisted by Ingrid Marie and Hamed.
