But there are some things that can be good to keep track of if you are going to practice driving, below we list some things to make your practice period easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important for the counsellor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The supervisor must be at least 24 years old, have held a driving licence for a car for at least five years and not have had their licence withdrawn for drink-driving or other serious offences.<\/li><li>The supervisor's driving licence must be issued in an EEA country.<\/li><li>The tutor licence is only valid for one pupil. If you are the parent of several children, you must have one authorisation per child.<\/li><li>Make sure you have the latest textbook.<\/li><li>Read more about how eco-driving works.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements for the car<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Practice driving preferably with a car that has a manual gearbox.<\/li><li>Check that the parking brake works at different speeds, it is the only way for the supervisor to help with braking.<\/li><li>You may want to get an extra rear-view mirror to keep an eye on the back of the car, known as a student mirror. You can see the pupil's face and what he or she is looking at.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When you practice driving<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Plan your driving according to the student's abilities, and always alternate driving with theory. Practise first in a quiet place before going out on the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Choose a place with little traffic that is easy to see and without obstacles. It may be difficult enough to crawl and practise starting and stopping without stalling at first. Increase the difficulty level as you go.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Do not start practice driving in bad weather conditions. Snow, slippery roads, pouring rain and strong winds will only make it difficult for a beginner to manoeuvre the car. Instead, choose days with better weather and when there is less traffic.<\/li><li>Combine theory and practice when you start driving in traffic. Go through the theoretical parts together and then practise in real life.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If your student is in driving school - follow the plan laid out, don't get ahead of yourself. Don't drive on roads and motorways before your student has done so at driving school. The same applies to driving at night.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Driving licence portal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportstyrelsen.se\/korkort\">Driving licence portal<\/a>&nbsp;is a collaboration between the Swedish Transport Agency and the Swedish Transport Administration.
