Risk 1<\/strong><\/h2>

Risk 1 is a mandatory training course that covers hazards related to alcohol, drugs, fatigue, and other factors that may affect your driving ability. As a participant, you should be able to recall and explain some of the key facts discussed during the course. To best prepare yourself, please review the information in the link below:<\/p>

The training lasts approximately 3.5 hours, and we provide refreshments and drinks. The course takes place at our facilities in Berghem, and we currently accommodate 16 students per session.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Risk 2<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Risk 2 \/ Skid Training is a mandatory course. We depart from the driving school at 06:25 and travel to the skid training facility in V\u00e4nn\u00e4s.             <\/p>\n

Each course has a maximum of four students. Lunch is included. <\/p>\n

Risk training in Ume\u00e5 - what you can expect from us<\/h2>

Taking both Risk 1 and Risk 2 is an important part of your journey towards Driving licence<\/a>With us, you'll complete your training in a safe, educational, and professional manner. Risk One focuses on the human factors behind traffic accidents, while Risk Two gives you practical experience in handling risky driving situations such as slippery conditions and panic braking. Many of our students find that the risk training not only prepares them better for the tests but also makes them safer and more aware drivers. Whether you book Risk One in Ume\u00e5 or Risk Two on the skid pan in V\u00e4nn\u00e4s, we'll be with you all the way \u2013 from starter<\/a> for the drive.

What you learn during the risk education<\/h2>

The risk training is an important part of the journey to your driving licence and helps you become a safer driver. The training consists of two parts, Risk 1 and Risk 2, which together give you a better understanding of the risks that can arise in traffic.<\/p>

What you learn during the Risk Awareness training<\/h3>

The Riskettan is a theoretical course that focuses on human behaviour in traffic and the factors that affect driving ability.<\/p>

During the training, you will learn more about, among other things:<\/p>

  • Alcohol and how even small amounts can affect judgment, reaction time, and risk assessment.<\/p><\/li>

  • Drugs and medicines that can impair driving ability and create dangerous situations in traffic.<\/p><\/li>

  • Tiredness behind the wheel and why a tired driver can pose the same risk as a driver under the influence.<\/p><\/li>

  • Distractions such as mobile phones, navigation systems and other things that take focus away from driving.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    The aim of Riskettan is to give you a better understanding of how various risk factors affect both yourself and other road users.<\/p>

    What's happening on Risk Two<\/h3>

    The risk-two, often called the skid course, is the practical part of risk education. Here you will experience and understand how the car behaves in different traffic situations and under varying road conditions.<\/p>

    With Risktv\u00e5an, you will train on, among other things:<\/p>

    • How the car reacts in slippery conditions and with reduced road grip.<\/p><\/li>

    • How braking distance is affected by speed, road conditions, and reaction time.<\/p><\/li>

    • How higher speeds reduce the likelihood of avoiding accidents.<\/p><\/li>

    • The importance of safety margins and adapting driving to prevailing conditions.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      The purpose is not to test your driving skills, but to give you insight into how risks arise and how you can prevent them in real traffic.<\/p>

      To make your path to a driving licence smoother, some common mistakes are good to avoid.<\/p>

      Waiting too long to book<\/strong>
      Many people wait until their theory test or practical driving test approaches. During certain periods, courses can become fully booked, risking delays in the process of obtaining a driving licence.<\/p>

      Doing the Risk Two too early<\/strong>
      The 'risk two' gives the greatest value when you have progressed a bit in your driving training and feel confident behind the wheel. Then you can absorb the exercises in the best possible way.<\/p>
